Featured at Gwynn’s Mt. Pleasant

Gwynn’s of Mount Pleasant, located in the Village Pointe Shopping Center in Mount Pleasant, is featuring five award-winning local artists as a part of its Give with Gwynn’s holiday charitable campaign to benefit My Sisters House. My work will be on display from November 26, 2017 to January 6, 2018 in one of five large display windows in the front of the building. It was interesting to find out that during the holidays domestic abuse actually increases at an alarming rate so it is very appropriate that the theme for this exhibit is "Peace on Earth" and that a portion of all proceeds will go to benefit "My Sisters House" who provides services and resources to empower victims of domestic violence to live free from abuse.

You can find out more about how you can be a part of helping stop domestic violence by visiting their website.

Participating artists include Deorah Hill, Stephen Web, Carla Johannesmeyer, and Melanie Spinks along with myself. I encourage you to come and check it out. These artists are all really unique and talented and also great people that I am honored to call friends.

You can read more about this event at charleston.com and you can also get directions by visitng Gwynn's website.
